2. Only one car may be registered by any person in the Pinewood Derby.
3. Wheel bearings and bushings are prohibited.
4. The car shall not ride on springs.
5. ONLY official Cub Scout Grand Prix Pinewood Derby wheels and axles are permitted.
6. Axles must be installed using the pre-drilled holes on the Official Pinewood Derby block. This means you may not move or change the wheel base of the car.
7. Construction of all entries MUST have begun AFTER last year’s (2009) Pack 353 Pinewood Derby
8. Only dry lubricant is permitted.
9. Only one lubrication is allowed before the beginning of the first race, and then once again before the beginning of the first race of the semi-finals and finals. (You will have 3 possible opportunities to lube).
10. Details, such as steering wheel and driver, are permissible as long as these details do not exceed the maximum length, width, and weight specifications.
11. The car must be free-wheeling, with no starting devices.
12. No loose material of any kind, such as lead shot, may be used.
